Birthdays and Weddings...

Last weekend Ryan and I headed to north Louisiana for the 4th time in 4 months. Our friends, Will Powell and Jessica Wawrzyniak, got married and Ryan was in the wedding. We were able to see friends from college that we hadn't seen in years, as well as those that we see on a regular basis in Dallas. We had a great weekend and are so happy for the new couple. Congratulations, Will and Jessica!

We also celebrated my mom's ??th birthday early since we won't be there on the real day (September 5th). My mom is the most selfless woman I know. We have always been close, but it seems like we have only become closer since I have become a "grown up". I value her opinion on everything and talk to her daily (as Ryan can attest to).
