Jessica and I participated in the March for Babies 5 mile walk at White Rock Lake in Dallas on Saturday. It was a big deal! There were tents and food and people everywhere! The Dallas mayor (no idea what his name is!) shot the start gun. Jessica and I weaved our way in and out of traffic until we had some room to move and then ran for a while, probably about half of the race. When we were coming to the finish line we saw Ryan, Kate and Danny (next to the animal rights picketers!) cheering us on. It was nice having someone to run with, someone to motivate me to keep moving. Also there were many stops along the way with people cheering and offering us water, Powerade and fruit.
